Missy Dennis

Missy Dennis has taught English in the Lone Star College System for 30 years.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from University of Houston and a Master’s in English from Indiana University. She loves interacting with students and helping them find success in writing. 

Jenny Toups

Jenny Toups has more than 20 years of college-level teaching experience. Her primary focus and specialty is English Composition, but she has also taught Business Writing, Honors, and Creative Writing classes. She has taught since 2008 at Lone Star College – Montgomery, and has taught at Tarrant County Community College as well as The University of Nevada – Las Vegas in the past. She holds Bachelor’s of Arts degrees in English and Journalism from Texas A&M University, and she earned an International Master’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada –Las Vegas. She is passionate about training young writers to craft clear, professional and moving essays.
